Mangaluru: CHD Group supported by the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India conducted a regional seminar on “being alert on the road” and “do’s and don’ts in road safety”, highlighting its importance to build a road safety consciousness across Mangalore.

The seminar was attended by over 25 skilled home health aides at the CHD innovation room of Edward & Cynthia Institute of Public Health (ECIPH). The home health aides were exposed to road safety mechanisms and requirements while dealing with the roads and were taught how to keep their families and others in the community safe on the road always.

They were further empowered to train other civilians in Mangalore with whom they work and promote road safety behaviour. Vote of thanks was given by Mr Iroll Magnus, Lead – CHD Administration.
